Your privacy is important. This page explains how this application handles your data.

No Data Collection

All calculations run entirely in your browser. No personal or financial data is sent to any server.

No Cookies

This application does not set any cookies. Your theme preference (light/dark mode) is stored in your browser's local storage and is not transmitted anywhere.

No Analytics or Tracking

We do not use any analytics services, tracking pixels, or advertising scripts.

Exchange Rate Lookups

When you request an exchange rate, a server-side proxy fetches the rate from HMRC or a public exchange rate API. Only the currency code and date are transmitted — no personal or financial data is included.

Hosting

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare may set strictly-necessary infrastructure cookies for security and performance purposes. These are not controlled by this application. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.

The calculation engine is open source and can be audited at github.com/damiantanase/capital-gains-calculator.
